A couple of minutes on the form, then 90 minutes for the audit itself. That is it. We write the report, you read it. If you go ahead, your team train around their normal work, so delivery does not stop.
That's entirely your call. Some owners come alone; most bring one or two people who know where the hours go, an ops manager, a commercial lead, a senior admin. Anyone you feel should be in the room is welcome.
There isn't one. This money is set aside by the government specifically to upskill the UK workforce. It is not a loan, there is nothing to repay, and claiming it is entirely legitimate. For team members under 25, training is fully funded. For team members aged 25 and over it is £900 + VAT one-off, which is the 5% employer contribution. The only real catch is that most businesses never find out it exists.
